Currently, the progress has reached around 39.6 percentMinister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono has urged to make improvements to infrastructure to support the G20 Summit activities at the end of 2022 in Indonesia.
Hadimuljono reviewed the progress in construction for the head of states' parking areas as well as the Siligita-Kempinski Showcase Mangrove Interchange and the Forest Park (Tahura) Ngurah Rai Mangrove Area Arrangement. The entire work is targeted to be completed by the end of July 2022 to support the G20 Summit in Bali.

Ahead of the Indonesian Presidency at the G20 Summit in October 2022, the minister reviewed the implementation of infrastructure improvements in Bali Province.
The PUPR Ministry has arranged the Tahura Ngurah Rai Mangrove Area around the Nusa Dua Reservoir to be used as a mangrove showcase.
The scope of work for developing the Tahura Ngurah Rai Mangrove Area includes the construction of the entrance gate, G20 monument, plaza area, mangrove tracking path, nursery area, receiving area (lobby, ticketing, receiving office), viewing tower, deck view overlooking Benoa Bay, and the parking area around the reservoir.
Furthermore, construction of the head of states' parking area is also being conducted on 2.6 hectares of land located not far from the Tahura Ngurah Rai Mangrove Area.
The scope of construction includes the building of Bentar Temple Gate, temple arrangement, Security Guard Post, Bale Bengong Gazebo, limousine parking with a capacity of 256 units, public facilities, panel rooms, canteen, water tanks, and emergency vehicle parking.

Infrastructure support is also offered by preserving nine roads and bridges divided into two work packages. Package I comprises road and bridge preservation of seven sections, with a total length of 22 km.
The seven segments are Pesanggaran Intersection - Benoa Gate, Kuta Intersection - Pesanggaran Intersection, Kuta Intersection - Ngurah Rai Monument, Airport Intersection - Ngurah Rai Monument, Ngurah Rai Monument - Nusa Dua Intersection, Pesanggaran Internsection - Sanur Intersection, and Jimbaran - Uluwatu (GWK), and Pesanggaran Intersection – Sanur Intersection (Sarangan).
The second package is an increase in the road Siligita Intersection – Kempinski and a 6.5-km mangrove showcase. To improve the quality and aesthetics, road and bridge preservation works are accompanied by beautification.
