Fourteen delegations from G20 member nations will participate in the second meeting of the Trade, Investment and Industry Working Group (TIIWG) in Surakarta city, Central Java province, from July 5–7, 2022.

The TIIWG was established in 2016 to discuss major trade and investment issues as well as to coordinate efforts by G20 nations to strengthen global trade and investment.

"We, the Investment Ministry, will become the host (of the meeting). The delegates are starting to arrive today (July 4)," deputy for investment cooperation at the ministry, Riyatno, informed here on Monday, at a security personnel gathering on the implementation of the G20 event.

The second meeting of TIIWG will feature a number of main events, starting with a welcome dinner on the evening of July 5, he noted.

Furthermore, the series of sessions of the TIIWG meeting will take place on July 6 and 7 at the Solo Alila Hotel.
